Google Pages

Who here has ever heard of Googlepages. Yes that's right, you now can host a webpage at Google. You know what the best part is? Its Free.

Here is my Google Pages : Link, Link, and Link
(Note: They are all currently being created)

Google has done it again, they have redefined yet another element of the computer world. Now anyone can create a webpage! You don not have to know HTML, Java, or any other language. It is as simple as typing in Word.

However their is a catch, you have to have Google account with G-mail. Right now it is impossible to get a Googlepages account because of the high demand, Google has closed the doors temporarily.

HelpSvc.exe

Is your computer getting really slow? Is it fast when you first turn it on, but then starts to slow down after 10 to 30 minutes? Then their are two things that could be wrong. 1) Spyware 2) HelpSvc.exe

1) I'm not going to go threw the spyware scenario at this time, but basically pull up Spybot and scan your computer.

2) HelpSvc.exe is hogging all your ram.

What is HelpSvc?

HelpSvc.exe is a giant quick help that is built into the standard Windows XP Machine. It was developed by Microsoft to search help file on your computer and help articles on Microsoft.com. Many users rarly find themself useing, if they even know how to find it. To see HelpSvc in action, Click Start>Help and Support.

How to stop HelpSvc.exe immediately

The best way to tell if this is the case is to right click on an empty part of your start bar and select 'task manager'.(Help) Click the tab labeled 'Processes' and look up and down the list for HelpSvc.exe.(Help) If it is found ,select it, and click the button labeled 'End Process'. The computer will ask you to confirm, say yes.(Help) HelpSvc.exe Should disappear within a couple of seconds. If it does not, try again in an administrator account on the computer.

How to stop HelpSvc.exe in the future

Right click on My Computer, select 'Manage'. On the left expand the 'Services and Applications', select option 'Services'. a list appears on the right. Find the service 'Help and Support' (Help), when was the last time you used this? I didn't think so. Anyway, right click on 'Help and Services' , select Properties. Change the startup type to 'Manual'. This will make it so that if you ever do need the service it will start up. Their is no need to have this service start automatically if you never uses it, and especially if it is going to slow your computer down to a crawl.
